This pic was snapped on my walk to work, 1" snow = busses can't run! It was one of the last pictures I took with my Olympus 730Z
At the time I was so pleased with the result I framed it and now I've found this site I wonder if it really stands up as being a good picture?

I like it compositionally, though it does need more contrast. You may want to move in the balck point in "levels", and move in the white point as well. The blown reflection of the un in the water trows up a peak near the right of the histogram; move the white point to the left of this, and justlet the reflection be blown out; it works fine here.
You could also add just a touch of sharpening to the web version, though the high-resolution version may not need it.

Thanks for the comments Fritz, I may not be able to take great pictures (yet) but like to think I have an eye for a good shot - this place is great for learning - its just a bit of a steep curve right now.
