I have looked through forums for this particular error and cannot find it. PSE6 is making me nuts! After bringing in all of my files stored on an ext drive, it will not edit any of them. I am just trying to add captions and get this:
An error occurred while reading files or writing files to disc. The disc may be full or there may be a problem with the source media.

I have checked my drive P and all of my images are there. The drive is less than half full. I cannot delete images either off the hard drive (P) - just the catalog. All files are connected. It is seeing all of the folders on drive P.

I have tried repairing the program. No luck there. I am thinking of going back to PSE5 but hate the thought of redoing all of the image tags and captions. Unfortunately I already took PSE5 off my computer so I will have to reinstall it.

One other question - in Prefs, should the location of 'Saved Files' be my ext HD or leave it where PSE wants it to be? I am not sure what it means by saved files - are those my actual images (then it would be on P) or is it Adobe's catalog thing?

Any thoughts?
