i think this picture is really great. i like the expression on the girls face, the knee in the forground really works good to create some depth. i like the variety of shapes in the image. the round knee, the simple background, the horizonatl line (1/3 up)..the skin ttone is good and the lighting is nice. My one sudjestion is that perhaps you are loosing some detail in the darks.the hair is just one black void, as well as the scarf. Perhaps a reflection sheet on the dark side of her to reflect some more light could be in order...
however orall very nice.

I like it. I like the hint of a smile, not quite a smile and yet... what is she thinking of... who is she thinking of?
Composition is strong, frame is uncluttered and the shallow DOF throwing out the background focuses all attention on your subject.
I like the idea of toning but it's a little strong for my tastes - I think a paler sepia might be nicer.

Thank you all for replying, the truth is the only light this one got whas from the computer monitor, a verry poor still bright light and long exposure. That's why it lacks some reflections in the darks. Maybe ill try to do something about that in photoshop and see what I can get. I will also try a paler sepia, but the truth is the original was a bit grainy because of the long exposure, so I had to blur it a bit and after that the only way i could get it to stand out was better contrasting tones. I will continue the work on it, thank you all for the comments.
Ofcourse further comments are welcome.
