Currently the only camera i own is a Sony DSC-W5 //www.dpchallenge.com/camera.php?CAMERA_ID=1181
Ive had it 2 years i think, but I think I have over used it!
Now the zoom buttons are lose, and often fall out if im not careful.
Also the top menu button which selects the flash amonst other things doesnt work and is stuck on automatic.
The lense itself is generally ok, it freezes up sometimes but not very often.
I'm at university so I can't really afford to replace (however much i'd like to) and i'm in a town where there is No camera shops at all, so i cant take it in to be looked at :(
Has anyone got any ideas or advice on what I could do?

I think I would agree with frisca. More than likely you'd spend more money trying to save it than you would if you just replaced it with a slightly less used camera.
Might want to look around for a good condition used camera and put this one up on Ebay (stating its faults ofcourse).

Guess ill have to beg the bf to buy me a camera for Christmas!
Think ill have to get the old Nikon SLR out for a bit, that will be a novelty having to actually process film :P
