If I want to send somebody an action that I have in CS3 then how do I go about it?

Once you created the action, highlight it; then click the right arrow underneath the exit window of the actions panel. The drop-down menu shows up and go down and select Save Actions. Type in the filename, and hit save at the location you want.

Then you can send it as a Photoshop .ATN action file.

All the best,
-AC

ahhh that arrow is almost hidden on CS3 - no wonder I forgot all about it. Is the .ATN file the same for mac and pc?

yes. If memory serves, in CS3, they finally allowed right clicking for the dropdown menu... did they not? Sorry if that's wrong, it's been about 5 long months since I ran the demo.

Yeah the .ATN should work no matter what OS/Computer they are running.
