| How can you tell who is giving low scores unless they tell you in the comments? |

Any score higher than my average is a good thing so this is OK but was hoping it might do just a wee bit better. |

I think it is difficult to say. but sometimes you get one more vote and your score either goes up or down , you could guess. |

| Somebody posted a spreadsheet recently you can use to "calculate" scores, based on the changes in number of votes and scores. That's how people know they're getting certain scores. They don't know who gives those scores, though. |

| I seem to misunderstand the advanced editing rules. I have just been looking at the self portrait entries and there seem to be quite a few that have added "things" or taken some away that to me look like could not have been in the original file. |

Only nice comments, excepting the comment from  levyj413, that I cannot tell if that is "Ha!" for a good or bad impression...
Again, for those who asked, my camera survived to this challenge... Also, I can tell you that it was very difficult to take that photo, spent some hours...
I still expect a score of 6+, maybe better than my best score... The hope never dies..
