Had a blast this last 2 days, my brother came over with his guitar and we played co-op and battle modes. Even more fun with 2 people. I worked my way through medium tonight....How the heck I passed the final battle and the Slayer song on the first tries I'll never know. On easy it took like 15-20 tries, so on medium I get it on the first try?? Wasn't pretty...only passed with like a 70%. I'm afraid to try it on hard (did one song and did alright for a first attempt once I settled into it.)

I think with the boss battles it's easier on medium/hard because there are more notes for them to fail on when you hit them with an attack :) Can't wait to open up my GH3 for 360 (assuming I got what I ~~asked~~begged for!)

Got a Wii.
Wii asked Grandpa for guitar hero...didn't get that, but did get 3 Wii games (2 duplicates) and a movie we already had. Return time...we get a GH3!

still working on hooking up the Wii. About to turn it on...it won't get turned off till tomorrow I'm sure.

Thought I'd break myself in easy with a quickplay online game before starting career. Oops! It sticks me on Expert Pro Face-Off. He picked TTFAF, which I've never played past the intro of on Expert, yikes, and I picked Knights of Cydonia which I know. It was pretty level on TTFAF right up to the end where he ran away with it a bit and beat me by about 10k. Then on KoC I started gradually pulling away and beat him quite comfortably in the end, making it 1-1. I'd never played before so I didn't know what it did in a tie... maybe a random song? No! It randomly gave him the choice of song and he picked some obscure Bonus song which I'd never heard of... so I was sight reading on expert and didn't hold out much hope. Somehow I managed an uber-long streak and pulled waaaay ahead and he never looked like getting back in it. Despite a higher accuracy than me in the end, I won by loads of points, yay! :)

Anyway, now I'm working through Career on Hard to unlock TTFAF quicker, and then I'll get started on Expert where I can meet my nemesis... Raining Blood!

These are my GH3 stats if anyone's interested ;)

I've started a DPC Tour Group on the Guitar Hero website if anyone is interested in joining :) I'll send some PMs to people in this thread later.
We can combine all our groupies, and compare high scores with each other etc :)

HELP!
Got a Wii.
Got GH3 too (love it.)

Can't get the damned Wii on the net.... I got a wireless network (linksys WR54TG router) and WEP enabled. I have my laptop, my friend's laptio and my Tivo box on the wireless no problem.

Is the wireless NIC part of the Wii box? What am I missing then? I know it's got to be something obvious...

When you play a game connected to the net the scores get uploaded and collated. You get groupies depending on how you perform on each song on each difficulty, and for online games etc.

You sign up to the website, and then the game (on Xbox at least, may be different method for other consoles) gives you a VIP code where you can link your website account with your game.

On the right click "Select Action..." and then Link Account
