Getting it for 360 for Christmas, woo! :) That means when rock band comes out the Fender can be lead and the Les Paul can be bass :D

So I get home yesterday and under the tree is this wrapped present and I have no idea what it is. Then my girl drops a hint that I could not miss and I figured it out. SHE GOT GH FOR OUR Wii!!!!!
I can't believe she found one and I can't wait to open it!

I was playing all day last Sunday and my fingertips are still numb on my left hand. Don't even mention the totally screwed-up eyesight. Going to get back playing it tonight, as I've got almost two weeks to recover before I have to go back to work. All this time on it and I've almost got through the tutorial.

My only gripe with GH3 is that all the songs tend to get old very quickly when you hear them all the time. That and when you have roommates that play the game 24/7, it gets quite annoying. However, playing it once in a while is pretty fun.
And this is the main reason I don't like to play games I'm not good at online. No feeling worse than getting schooled by a 9 year old kid. :)

1 - get rid of your lazy roomates
2 - get a 9yr old to teach you ( they are less annoying than room mates despite what you might think )
3 - stop being afraid of the internet ;}

No fear of the internet! :) I'll take on challengers for Halo 3 (or 1 or 2 for that matter) and Forza 2 any time! (As soon as I get xbox live again...) I've got some sweet rides in Forza 2.

As far as the songs getting old....I think it helps if you liked the music before hand like I did. Lots of good music on there. I've only been playing for a week and have played over 50 songs..which I think is a fair number of tunes. You could be stuck with 20 and THAT would be monotonous.
I've never played the older versions so I'm a bit of a newbie, but man, this game is hard...beat it all on easy, now working my way through on medium (half way or so). Reign in Blood was my achillies heel even on easy...I'd be all tensed up and getting tired trying to keep up.
Ok...back to GH3 |

i think it's because it's not really music... more of just thrashing at the strings or something.
i wish the online players would get over that damn dragon force tune too. getting tired of that one.

I liked the majority of the songs on this game before I got the game. But it ended up being like the radio, playing a song over and over makes it just get old and you don't want to listen to it anymore.

Yes I agree, but you don't have two people that play constantly. :) It is fun, don't get me wrong...but only in moderation.
