| Are we allowed to use HDR prosesing in PS for advanced editing (self portrait) challenge? Never tried this and would like to give a go. |

As long as all layers are derrived from ONE image, yes.

Hi Motek,
Any HDR type effect must be a process that works with a single capture. I've tried HDR with bracketing exposure, this takes two or more captures and this type of HDR isn't allowed. |

ok, may I take 1 shot and edit the exposure in PS, Create 3 pics from that and use those (Dark , Neutral, light )from 1 pic for HDR? |

not trying to jack the thread, but in photoshop elements 5, would adding a "fill layer" such as a gradient be legal, or for this thread, allowed, under advanced editing?
