For you Nikon owners, Nikon has released their RAW Codec for Windows Vista.
The Nikon RAW Codec is a free software module that enables you to handle RAW image files (*.NEF: Nikon Electronic Format) under Microsoft Windows Vista with the same ease as JPEG or TIFF images.

That's cool ... although I have no plans to move to Vista.
I think the only practical benefit for me would be the ability to see thumbnails in Windows Explorer. Aside from that I do nothing with my RAW files outside of Bridge/Photoshop. |
