Canon USA has announced that the EOS-1Ds Mark III bodies will be shipping to U.S. retailers this week. These cameras contain the newly redesigned mirror sub-assembly, which addresses a previous focusing issue.
The 21 megapixel cameras are expected to hit the retailers in the next few days.

So who's put a deposit down on one? Are you picking it up this week? ;-)
Who else is planning on buying one? I would imagine some of the pro sports photographers here at DPC would be the first (or at least their employers would purchase it for them)
