Hello, I am using CS2 and would like to resize|sharpen a bunch of images. I have figured out actions and batching....everything works well except I would like to save at a lower quality. I am mainly using this for personal snapshots of the family. Is there a way to start with the Tiff file, resize (fit works good), unsharp mask and then save to destination folder with a quality of 8 instead of 12?

Thanks!

Hmm...it sounds do-able. What happens when you record the saving process? Does it not keep the quality setting?

I could be wrong, but I believe if you check the 'Override Action "Save As" Commands' checkbox on the batch dialog window, you may not be able to control the quality.
