Hey Guys. Been a while!
My camera club will be going to DC for the Cherry blossom festival in April. I'm looking for hotels that are nice, but are priced below $120 that are accessible to the Metro. Any suggestions? Staying outside DC is fine.
I believe Crystal City we stayed at last year, but can not remember for the life of me. I remember one hotel being smack right above the Metro Station, that would be great!!!
Suggestions and Help are much appreciated!

Go to PRICELINE and use the name your own price option. With booking this far in advance, you shouldn't have trouble getting a great price at a really great hotel. You can stay just outside the city in the historic Alexandria and have a lot of photo opts. :) |

The Doubletree Crystal City is $108/night non-refunable or $119/night standard and is about a 10-minute walk from Metro.
The Courtyard by Mariott Rosslyn is $119/night standard, and is a 4-5 minute walk to Metro.
Rosslyn has the advantage of being serviced by both the blue and orange lines, so trans are frequent. I think both of the prices above are before taxes.

Remember that he needs a Metro-accessible station. I'm not aware of a way to guarantee that with Priceline.

Terry! Great, I was hoping to get some of the old DC DPC folks into this mix. Thanks for the info.
