If anyone is interested:

I am selling a Carl Zeiss Flektogon 25mm f/4 for Exakta mount on E-bay.

Let me know if you are interested in any other Exakta lenses (Zeiss among others) which I have available.

Thanks,
Lee

Just a note for your ebay notes - if the lens says East Germany on it it wasn't made during world war 1, nor world war 2, but in the years after world war 2.

What is Exakta mount? Can you get a converter for this lens for modern cameras?

Right WWII -- changed that.

Here is some more information on the original Exakta cameras.

The U.S. Navy tested several camera brands out in the 60's and the Japanese manufacturer Topcon won the competition, using Exakta mounts. These SLR's became widely available in the 1970's as the manual camera was phasing out and it is a Topcon system that came with the Exakta lenses I am selling.

Exakta Adaptors are definitely floating around, like this one. I'd love to try out some of my lenses but right now don't really have the need for them.

Hey Lee,
Nice to see someone else has some old Exakta stuff laying about... I too have some oldies-but-goodies, but I don't have an adapter at this point. I know they can be adapted to EOS, though.

Yeah, I found some Nikon and Olympus adapters available on E-bay as well.
