Was just looking at the guide on my cable system. A station I have never heard of, Ovation TV, all week long during prime time is having some sort of thing on 'photography'. The series is called The 'Genius' of 'Photography' and the first 15 minutes or so have been interesting. Mostly history stuff, but looking to the rest of the week there are photographer profiles and different shows all related to...'photography'.
I rarely watch TV but this caught my attention. Thought I would pass it along.

no? Damn! During breaks in the show - between commercials, they show photos with the photographer/artist name/pic, that people submit to them via email. Want some exposure? Name and photo on TV?
And they have a photo contest going now: contest.

next time they flash the email I will jot it down and post.
myart@ovationtv.com to submit your photos, images of any other kind of artwork (paintings, etc.) All the ones they show have a name, location, artist head shot and of course the image itself.

| Here in the UK this program is on BBC4 for anyone else interested =) I thik starts at 9pm =p |
