j/k

I just had to pop in and leave a smartass comment, because with a subject like that, I clicked on it looking to see what smartass comment you had left only to discover you the OP.

Why else would I have high speed Internet?

It started workin today (after pounding on it a bit), but requires a heavy finger to get it to click. Definitely a contact issue.

I picked up a cheap GE wireless optical mini mouse today. Not a bad little mouse. I kinda like it, if I can get used to its smaller size.

Is that what she said?
Be gentle with your mouse, don't beat it. And don't eat all the cheese yourself.

I've used Logitech wired mice for many years. Then converted to Microsoft Intellimouse/USB. I even have a pet mouse named "Click".

It's funny; when I got my Wacom tablet I started using the dedicated, wireless wheelmouse that came with it, and it's worked like a charm from day one. I am wondering why you are messing with logitech mice when have a tablet?

how much you pay for it? nowdays when i buy a mouse i try to go 40-50, my buttons are doing the same thing on my mouse, probably from dust or the clicker isnt being hit by the stud on the button, i poped mine up and then push them back ddown and they work fine, after going about 2 months without right click:P

The Adesso CyberTablet unfortunately does not have a wheel mouse. It's a three-button scroll mouse, but I like a wheel.

Another reason is that my primary system is a notebook and I don't always need the tablet or want to lug it around.

Fortunately, being as rough as I seem to be on mice, the Logitech Optical Wheel Mouse cost like $13. So was the GE I bought today.

I absolutely hated those Microsoft wireless mice. The only thing worse was the wireless keyboard.

Really? That's the only prob I've ever had with it. No probs ever with the keyboard. Couple 3 years old now.

Yeah, it just seemed really slow to respond and inaccurate to me. That and I hated changing batteries even though that only happened every 3-4 months. After switching to laser, the accuracy difference is amazing. My mouse does 2000dpi max compared with 800dpi max for optical mice. It can also change sensitivity on the fly without going into menus for more accuracy or faster movement. I ditched mine after 3 years of using it, the mouse was starting to die on me, and I am so happy that I did. I'm never going back to optical now. :) (stupid technology...)
