I would say that because you already have a 28-75mm. I would go with the 10-22mm.

I think the 10-22 is almost TOO wide. I usually use mine at or around the 22mm end of the lens, but it's nice to know that I could go to 10mm if needed. I have thought that the 17-40 might have been better for me, but I'm happy with my choice.

Interesting. I have also read that it isn't the best for night-portraits.

Still, I think I will enjoy the super-wide close-up distortions.

It's not really that good for any kind of portraiture but the distortions in addition to the really close focus distance is amazing.

Yeah, I had never had anything wide until the 10-22 and I tossed up between it and the Tokina 12-24 (which is a great alternative for the $ saving IMO - I still prefer the feel of it). W-i-d-e is just amazing, well worth a try over 17mm....

Remember, going to "10" really means going to 16mm on your camera.

Yeah I know, but that's still sometimes too wide for me. I just know that in the not so distant future, I might want to trade the 10-22 in for a 17-40 L even though 17 is not all that wide on an APS-C sensor.

Anyone interested in selling their: Sigma AF 10-20mm f/4-5.6 HSM EX ?

Based on what I've read the Canon does not provide much more for the higher price.

I want to pick this up before my trip to Denver in mid December.

This post is annoying and unreadable with the edited posts. Not a good idea.
