When I had ps cs and I took a b+w photo it would come up as b+w in adobe raw. I could even change it(drop down menu) to the other in camera settings from my camera. Like red filter, green filter, color, etc. With my new copy of ps cs3 I dont have the drop down menu and my in camera black and white photos come up as color in adobe raw. I went through all the trouble of getting my photo right in camera and now I have to post process it to get the same look. Is there a way to access this menu in cs3 that I am missing or is it an outdated feature?

I don't use ACR so ignore my questions if they are silly.

Doesn't camera default refer to the 'default' settings so unless you camera has BW as the default it won't come up in BW? Just a thought.

Is there nothing in that drop down that indicates 'as shot' like with the WB?

no drop down like white balance that I can find. If I set my camera to b+w wouldnt that become the default?

Should be there, although you may have to find and download or create a "default" for your camera.

No. Not usually unless you set it up to be.

'As Shot' and 'Default' are two completely different things.
