should we all vote whether or not Miah has dyslexia or not for posting to the so called "incorrect" forum with questionable content
just to clarify that his intentions were for a humorous reasons, thats the way I took it, not to pick on someone or hurt their feelings.... people are jumping the gun WAY too fast these days
a quote I heard in a movie (I cant remember the movie) but it had Anthony Hopkins in it....
"People are getting dumber and more opinionated"
can someone tell my why my left eye keeps twitching???? I only looked at that site for 10 minutes trying to figure out what it was about
James

Once again the yanks have turned a joke into something much deeper, what next, a whole country grinding to a halt because Janet gets her tit out? Oops to late.

Just like that effect on a episode of "Pokemon" that caused a bunch of kids that watched the show in Japan to go into seizures. |

It doesn't take much of a stimulus to trigger a national seizure, does it?
The Hollywood tradition is that any publicity is good publicity, so long as they spell your name right. |

hehe... this brings back memories when I first started posting links to funny stuff in the General Discussion forum... I was told that forum was for photography topics and I asked what was the difference between "Photography Discussion: Discuss all things photography" and "General Discussion: No other place for it? Try here!" and no one gave me a real answer.
So all my funny posts are put in the Rant forum, for some unknown reason. However, if I were to say that I think our President is a liar and I want to have Saddam's children, I could put it int he General Discussion forum. The lesson is, it's not a rant if you commit treason.

That is sick. Whoever put that epilepsy test on the internet ought to institutionalized. Disgusting to say the least. Sorry to offend Miah, but need to rethink your values in the area of what is acceptable in civilized society. We do still consider ourselves a civilized society don't we? |

That's not true -- any thread discussing these things has been consistently put in the Rant section.
Many OTHER things have not, and maybe should be for consistency; the threads on a death or illness in someone's family, for example. I agree that there could be a true non-photography/non-rant section which would solve some of this confusion.
To say you think the President lied is not treason, it is expressing an opinion, and is not only specifically protected by the First Amendment to the US Constitution, but is considered the patriotic duty of every citizen to express it if they sincerely believe it true.

I had epilepsy as a youngster and my daughter has a brain tumour that triggers epilepsy. I didn't watch it and she won't see it.
What did this thread do for me? make me ring my daughter and tell her how much I love her.

You wave that flag at the drop of a hat, don't you? I'm surprised it took you that long to reply. Personlly, I think your political opinions are as out of touch with reality as could be. Your bleeding heart is causing your brain to think irrationally. Hillary in 2004!
I love the First Amendment.
