Would be interesting to see the test with the 4.0 slightly stopped down. Say both on 5.6.
Edit: Oh ok you can change that. But I'm having trouble making use of the chart, and I don't know which one's which.

Click on the ? mark for an explanation of the test. The top panel is generally the center of the shot. The middle panel is toward the edge and the bottom panel is at the edge. Generally the bottom panel is not relevant for crop sensors, but this was shot on a 30D (because of the AP-S) so it represents the edge of the crop.

You can see the difference between the two by rolling your cursor over and off the panels. It's a cool site.
