Hello,
Selling my old Laptop. I loaded Photoshop CS2 on new computer. I can't seem to find how to delete PS from my old computer. It does not appear on the add/remove programs tab under Adobe or Photoshop.
I went to the directory where PS resides and I don't see an "uninstall".
Can anyone guide me?
Thanks,

Install the same version on top of it and then remove it from the add/remove programs.

If you don't have one, get a program that has a disk wipe on it that will overwrite the areas on your disk that had files on them that you erased. If you don't, it will be easy for anyone to recover deleted data... like personal information, passwords, credit card numbers, birthdays, bank account info, etc.
You would be amazed at how many people don't even delete their personal information from their computers before they donate them to Goodwill or some other place. And even if you delete the stuff and over write it with another file, a good disk snooper can look at each bit of information on a disk and extract out data. You can destroy a hard drive and still get data off the platters inside. I've still got hard drives from 1988 when I got my first PC that I took out of my computers as I got upgraded to new computers. One of these days I'll either melt them to slag or take them somewhere that has an industrial strength magnent to throw them next too. :D
But really, anyone that gets rid of a computer with a hard drive in it, should take these percautions. A lot of surplus and old computers end up in the hands of people that all they do is harvest information.

That may not work for the OP. The recipient of his computer could install a preview version of PS and it may become recognized as registered if PS's registration information is buried in the registry. Of course, this assumes that he just wants to remove PS, period.
However, if the OP wants to deactivate PS so that he can reinstall (and reactivate) on another computer, then deleting the "Program Files" folder does him no good.
