One thing that makes me truly glad to be here is that I get to see little glimpses of life that I ordinarily would not.

Take this young woman for example: [thumb]611121[/thumb]

The chances of me seeing this woman, or someone of the same ilk as her are just about nil.

Yet in her own style, she is just drop dead gorgeous!

Though she's not to my taste, you cannot deny that she looks just absolutely spectacular the way she is done up, and the attitude that is conveyed by her carriage is that she is proud and comfortable as this kind of Gypsy princess, or whatever.......the actual identification of this look escapes me due to sheer ignorance.

Though this is not someone I would ever have brought home to meet my mother, I am grateful to awpollard for bringing this stunning, striking beauty into my life.

I love this place!!!!

I agree! I was thinking the other day how photography... the art of it... makes life so much more beautiful. I think you look at things in a different perspective.

[thumb]610895[/thumb] Or her!! The internet and DPC has opened up the world of visuals to us all. Isn't it grand?

Thanks Jeb,

Gypsy Belly Dancers are amazing to watch. You can look them in the eyes yet not make eye contact. It is all about expression. They are cold but intriging. Stone cold and calculated througout the entire session...I think a lot of the mystery of these gals is the intentional lack of eye contact.

as soon as they were done, they come running up to me all giggles and smiles just like the girl next door.

The camera is what has openned up the world to me.

Before I had a camera 0 renfaires, 0 botanical gardens, 0 airshows, not a whole lot of anything... Once I had that dSLR in my hand... boom I can't get enough of anything and everything. I can go into elements that in the past I would not have thought about; Like the Gypsie's costume I can hide comfortably behind the camera in my own world.

You got to be careful though because sometimes you find yourself entering their world...now that Boheimian Shirt is actually quite comfortable.

The camera is certainly my window to the world!

Thanks again for the Gypsy goddesses!
