This is not my photograph but it is scanned by me (The quaility is not the best as it it is newsprint!
This appeared on the front page of our Waikato Times (New Zealand) a couple of weeks ago Photographer is Ian Mcgregor
The reason I am sharing this with you all is:
It amazed me that this action shot is so in focus and very detailed I hope that you can see for yourself what i mean I dont know if its a digital image or not but most photographers working for newspapers use digital I think
He definitly deserved front page for this

Must be scary being the photographer right there in the spot, unless you havea great zoom!!!

Im sorry folks I always have problems with posting images
If you follow Pedro's link it does come up if not Maybe someone else can get it to open
It is worthwhile

If you look at most photographers at sports events you may notice that they have multiply cameras. What's the reason for this? Is one a wide angle and one a tele lens for quick changes?
