Ok so I am heading to Louisville Kentucky tonight for a football tournament I am in. It is all day tomorrow, but then I stay Saturday night also. I was wondering if anyone knows of a good place that can't be passed up, that I could stop and take some shots on my way home on Sunday. Falls, trails, old towns....anything anyone knows of from Akron, Ohio to Louisville that is a must shoot.....thanks in advance.... |

Louisville is across the Ohio river from Cincinnati. There are some decent shots to be had at night looking at the Queen City. If you are going to take I-71, the scenery is rather dull, but there are a few places to detour to - Antioch, Oxford, etc. If you take 77 (much longer drive) and go through Marietta and near Athens you catch the Appalachian mtns and get some great views of the river.
I hope this helps. I am an Ohio native, but don't get back much. |
