Just got my lens today. I have to shoot football Friday. Can't wait until Saturday for basketball.

Great lens. I got it to shoot this:

Word of advice: be carefull of shallow DOF. It is so small at large Fs that it makes focusing hard. Practice a lot before the event.

Yea thanks I used a friends tuesday night. I know what you are talking about. But when they are clear they look great.

Those are great shots and good advise.

Awesome photos I did not think about using it for things like that. I was just going to use it for Basketball. Thanks for the advice and ideas.
