I tried ordering a used Canon 10-22 lens from KEH - having heard that they are a reputable outfit to deal with.
NO - they are not! I have never dealt with a more disorganized and sloppy business.
I placed the order on 11/02 at 2pm. Yes, 4 days ago! And silly me - I paid for 2 day delivery. Little did I know what kind of circus I was entering.
This darned thing is STILL pending!! No answers to emails and I finally called them today only to be told that they have to send an email to the web department.
Well, I am fit to be tied and told them to cancel the stupid thing. So I am told again, they have to send an email to the web department - or perhaps to Neptune. Makes about the same sense here. So I do not know when they might act upon this "email" and they just might charge me for the darned thing I no longer want from them.
I am fuming - can you see the smoke?
Had to vent....

Call your Credit card company and have them make sure you are not charged anything.

You are right. I have never seen such a disorganized place. An email needs to be sent elsewhere to cancel an order? And she said, they take their time getting to it!

That's too bad. I've heard nothing but good things about KEH, and my experience reflects that.
I ordered my 1D from there, and paid for overnight shipping, and they lived up to it. Their ratings are also very conservative - 'BGN' is typically 'excellent' anywhere else.
I wouldn't be surprised if your package arrives later today. 4 days is worse than 2, but most delivery services don't ship on Saturday or Sunday so if they got it out on Saturday, it didn't start getting delivered until yesterday morning.
By the way, I called the next day (placed the order at about 9 pm) to check status on my package, and the man found it right away and told me it had been shipped and would arrive the day after. It did.
Their website didn't update the day that I called, it still said 'pending', hence the call.
