Judging is currently going on for the College Photographer of the Year competition.
Anyone else on DPC submit some images? There are videos and podcasts of the judging at //cpoy.org/?s=Podcast

It's really interesting to watch the judging process, and see how these judges who are some of the best picture editors, emphasize certain things in photography that aren't seen in communities like this...like the emphasis of content over a pretty picture.

Hope to see some DPC folks who entered. Nonetheless I would suggest watching the videos, really insightful to see what the real editors look for and consider good photography.
