A new take on an a favorite.
Choose a challenge entry THAT ISN'T YOUR OWN and try to emulate it as closely as possible! This one does not have to be a ribbon winner, but must have have been added to your favorites before xx/xx/xxxx (whatever day the challenge is announced).

That's an interesting twist :-)
Imagine the rush of people adding favorites even as we speak, in preparation :-)
I'd prefer to widen the field a little by saying "...and emulate, parody, or pay homage to..." I think the deja vu challenges work better when we don't have to try to copy precisely.

It may not even be necessary to have that extra wording. The last Deja Vu challenge the winner was nothing like the original and that challenge was worded similar to this suggestion.

You know I could have done this just the same. What is your point?
ETA: Actually, I prefer we get more shots that are not straight copies. I merely suggested it's probably not needed to reword the description to get it.

Except that last time it was a huge debate, and some people felt they HAD to do faithful copies, so why not make it clear they don't?
