I have shot family members..... but this is the first Model that I contacted on Model Mayhem to shoot. Im in Maui until the 14th.... I may shoot her again before I leave.
She had absolutely no experience modeling.... it was pretty good.... but also sometimes frustrating. All in all..... I think we got some good shots.
Link to the photoshoot gallery....
Any comments, pointers etc welcome :) |

This one is my favorite:

Looks like she is squinting in a few. I nice reflector might work to shield the sun. Also remember to never pose them staight at the camera. If you don't have them I recommend looking at these Rules:

I think this is a great image

I think that if you cropped out her oddly placed hand and used an upper body crop, this would be one sensational shot.. very pretty girl, great pose, great lighting, nice background (a little crooked but it works), etc..
The others are really nice too, not too fond of the sunglasses shots, looks a little too much like Victoria Beckham in those (and I can't stand her), and the wet hair shots are good, but imo really long hair doesn't photograph that well when its wet.. overall a really nice set of images in a lovely location!
