in my defense, it was written before Canada was represented. :)

i don't know if the papers i submitted it to will do anything or not.

I am proud to have been a member of such a wonderful, exciting, caring project.

Definitely extra kudos to Jojo for spearheading the project; obviously, an extra nod to both [user]routerguy666[/user] and

Brad for saving my........bacon.

BTW, with Jojo's alacrity in handling everything.....I think it's the five kids thing.....(She's used to large groups of mayhem!)

Well... our interview didn't happen. We, the news team & I, could not get hold of her. The reporter told me that her office said they think she is in the hospital.

I know she's still battling her cancer, so the news saddens me. So, if you guys can, please give some thoughts, prayers, or good vibes to Carla.

I got a call from the local news lady today... thanks to

rossbilly!!!! He put out press releases to EVERYONE!!! YAYYYYY!!! I hope we sell a million... but a thousand would be ok too hehe

Leroy, we at the Durnford house hold are deeply saddened at this news and we will hold Carla and her family close to our hreats and keep her in out thoughts and prayers.

The good news -- the local paper ran my release.

The bad news -- the completely messed it up. Not sure how, but I am both the photog and the model, I have two husbands (apparently), five children, and live in both Marion and Canton, NC.

:/

Gonna put a call in to see if they will run it again, which is a good thing.

I just looked up the local papers online & called their main numbers. When they answer, just say "I'd like to speak to someone about a 'human interest' story". They'll put you in touch with the right person... if ya don't say it too fast cuz yer nervous... like I did the first time!

Seriously, not a big deal - tell them you know of a local photographer & breast cancer survivor who donated their time & effort to an international calendar, and that all the proceeds are going to the Susan G. Komen Foundation. They'll take care of the rest.

OH! Now might be a REALLY good time to update your SP ;)
