::whew::
JUST got home - had to drive 2 hours (roundtrip) to work, and was finally able to get 'my' volunteer's photo choice nailed down. Sorry, but they weren't happy with their posing in my first image. Email mix-up meant I kept my fingers crossed the whole way to work, hoping she sent a message through our work email! - and that is exactly where it was.
Will have something up on the blog (and to JoJo!) in a couple hours...

JoJo and I will be finalizing the file Sunday evening, so we will need the rest of the photos by Sunday mid day.

If anyone wants to edit this photo, go right ahead. My PS trial ended, so I had a rough time editing it in GIMP. ugh... I think the shot turned out great, but to me the b/w conversion is a little bit flat.
What do you guys think? Oh and it was 40 degrees yesterday and I made them model in short sleeves... LOL poor things were freezing.
I will go post on the blog.
This is my step mom by the way (on the right) and her daughter (14) My step mom is 37 years old. |

umm, IF you are interested in a small change to your image, I tried gently pushing the contrast & sharpness... just ask - doesn't matter WHO does it, only that you are happy with it. (I think you posed them very well, btw)

I tried bumping the contrast, but to me Ann's face looked too splotchy... does it seem that way to you? |

No one shot for those months or you just haven't received two of them? (I read woo's is not shot).
May I suggest you post a separate thread with a well worded title and ask for three shots in the next two days? I'm sure with 80,000+ people on this site you would get 3 shots in no time.

Ugh that would really have me eating crow as I double checked on the cover thing before telling the volunteer. If it has to happen it has to happen but would be nice to avoid. |

Im also sort of back in the game hopefully, Im talking righ now with the daughter of a survivor I know of and everything looks good for a shoot tomorrow am :D if its used great and if not it will be good for my portfolio... :D Ill keep ya all posted...

Go Dave, I'm also setting something up for tomorrow but not until the pm as we have to go to Karens funeral (she is our friend who just died from breast cancer on Tuesday) and it is in the am so I'll post when I'm done.

Im so sorry to hear about your friend my condolences to you, your family and her's. I will hopefully shoot my victim volunteer in the am but you chimed in first so you get first dibs... I think its FEB that they need so I was thinking of either a white or black BG with a huge pink heart outline lit up with rope lights and a pink ribbon outline lit up also the same way behind the subjects which currently is a grandmother, daughter and grand daughter and possibly a sister to the daughter and maybe get the grand daughter holding some pink roses tied up with pink ribbon... if something happens then mine can be used as a backup... Im good with that :)
I still feel awefull about backing out earlier but still want to help in any way that I can...

I think we kinda gave up on making every month themed, so there should be no problem, unless you want a specific theme.
