Just checked my DPC account & apparently I sold a print or prints! YAHOO! I imagine it was too many but who would have guessed! Can't believe it!
Does anyone know how the profits breakdown? Is there any way to tell who bought a print or which one?

Congratulations! There's no way to track the sale (privacy restrictions, I think) unless the person emails you directly.
You get 50% of the difference between the base price and the sale price, unless the person folowed a referral link from your site, in which case you get an additional 25% for that.
You should go back and read the DPC Prints agreement. I think your net shows up under the "My Account" link; I think you can use it as credit immediately or get a check when it accumulates to $25. |

How many prints do people actually sell on dcprints.
I haven't ever sold any, mind you i just got here 2 weeks ago and only have 1 mediocre print on dcprints.. but is there people who actually sell a number of prints each month?

I've never really learned exactly what DPC Prints are and how they work. Could some one please inform me because I may be looking into it in the somewhat near future. Not that I would really have anything good enough yet, but who knows. Thanks! :)

There are two functions:
1) High-quality photo output for your own prints
2) Public print gallery where you can sell photos at a mark-up of your choosing and keep 50-75% of the net
Look for sellers' FAQ under the main DPC Help Menu, and maybe the Help item under the DPC Prints menu. |

I realize they offer different size shots, but what if my maximum resolution is 3 MP? How exactly do I upload a printable image into the account? What is "prinatable." Just a few questions that would really help me. Thanks!

Read Seller's FAQs -- most of this info is there.
You can easily get an 8x10 or larger from a 3MP camera. |
