#1 - So my kindergardner (is that a word?) has a "Halloween" parade around the school & they needed to dress up. The note came with "No weapon; swords etc. or Masks because they scare the kids". Now, I ain't American and have no history of this stuff but I thought scaring was the whole bleeding point - WTF?

#2 - Older kid gets his school photos back on the 30th. Which is like 3 years and some months after the photo's were taken but how hard is it to at least have the kid look at the camera? The flat flash from the front I kinda come to expect but come on... I'm not asking to brush their hair or anything high tech like side lighting or expressions an anything... just make sure they look at the lens for the mug shot instead of their mates off the the side :-/
