My grandfather-in-law passed away yesterday and since I'm the genealogy guy (and scanned photo storage keeper), I've been asked to put together the funeral slideshow on DVD. I want this set to simple, nice music as he had no favorite song, per se.
So...
Powerpoint?
Lightroom?
I have CS3 full, so is Flash the way to go?
Oddly, I've never done anything of this sort.
Thanks!

Duh, nevermind... I just saw the answer...\
Next question... are you using Windonws (which version)or Mac?
Edit: the reason I ask is that Windows DVD Maker in Vista is probably the easiest tool to use for what you want.

| Powerpoint is very straightforward and easy to use. There is even an option to import an entire folder of images and it will automatically put each image on it's own slide. If you are looking for a simple slideshow without having to spend hours upon hours of work, this could be a nice solution. |

Then I'd have to say Windows DVD Maker is probably the quickest/easiest/best tool that you could use.
