Hi all,
Having a problem with my monitor. Instead of showing a color going from light to dark smoothly it shows it um well not smoothly. It doesn't blend from one shade to next smoothly. EG A vignette from light to dark grey shows the steps - jumping to the new shade of color.
Have I got something set up wrong on my monitor/color settings. I have had this problem for a bit but don't recall having it a while back. Others use the computer and may have adjusted something without my knowing it.
Hope you understand the problem I've described.
Any clue as to what this may be and how to fix it? |

This could be a whole bunch of things. I'll give you what I think is the most likely (I'm going to assume you use windows...if you don't, ignore everything I say).
It sounds to me like your Color Quality settings got bumped down. Right click on the desktop, select properties. Click on the Settings tab and make sure your Color Quality setting is at Highest (32 bit). If it isn't, set it to that. If it is, you have a different problem! |
