I'm thinking about buying the new Nikon D70 when it becomes available. My question is in regards to the 1.5x image magnification using regular lenses. I know my 50mm f1.4 will become a 75mm lens, but what of the f stop? Will it still be a f1.4, or will it change?

It will not affect the aperture. I've got that same lense on my D100. You'll just have to take a few steps back when composing.
