Can the Tokina 12-24 be used with a Canon 10D? I seem to recall that the EF-S lenses cannot be used with the 10D, and since the Tokina is made for APC-S sensors, I wasn't sure if it would be likewise incompatible.

The EF-S lenses physically cannot mount to the 10D because the 10D has a standard EF lens mount and not an EF-S mount. It has nothing to do with the sensor size. Since the Tokina has a standard EF lens mount, it will work just fine on the 10D.
