This is for non-profit oganization. Nothing fancy, just to make sure it works in DVD player.

I've found Microsoft's Photo Story 3 to work nicely... the program itself is free, but $20 to get the software to burn stuff to DVD.

Cool thanks. I'm exporting test video already. Looks perfect for what I need.

piccassa also is free and is quite good

Look at this Animoto thread and see if it works for what you want.

It syncs the images to the rhythm of any music you choose and they allow you to keep remixing until you get what you want. The same music and set of images will turn out differently each remix. Choose some slow music and you should get a sweet show.

This is easily my best mix yet of some random images and a sound track that I wrote and recorded.

I believe a full length version will cost a few dollars but they look super slick and actually take less time than using Photostory or other software.
