My new Tokina AF 12-24mm f/4.0 AT-X 124AF Pro DX arrived and now that I have it, Im not sure when I should use it instead of my 50mm. Ideas?

Use it for landscapes, use it for photos where you don't have a lot of room/space such as interior, architectural photos. Use it to emphasis or distort characteristics in the real world.
For me, my Sigma 10-20 is usually used for landscapes. Wide angles are perfect for that. |

use it now use it tomorrow use it till you get used to it!!!! |

That's the Nikon version of the Pentax smc P-DA 12-24mm F4.0 ED/AL (IF). Many of the new Tokina lenses are made in conjunction with Pentax. |
