Any links for taking Portraits with studio strobes, formal portraits and any links for kids portraits

Not with strobes, but with a basic studio set up...

Hi Karen i saw your portraits, amazing here is some of the snaps i clicked casually.

Well i plan a 30x40 and was confused to do a 30x40 portrait on above line or do something formal like i saw on net

i was tempted to do formal as size of 30x40 was big , any ways i had another idea of soing collage of 30x 40 made from snaps that i will click till say july, his bday is on 3rd july any suggestions how to go about creating collage and making a 30x40 from 8x10 scanned print ( i have 2 mega pxel and i can get good quality 8x10 printout and i plan to scan this if possible for 30x40, i really dont have much idea about scanning so dont know if it is possible
