I'm heading for a trip to San Francisco at the end of November and of course I will be taking pictures. In my bag right now are:
Nikon AF-S Nikkor 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 DX ED
Sigma 70-300mm f/4-5.6 APO DG Macro for Nikon
Nikon AF Nikkor 50mm f/1.8D
I was thinking of renting a lens to go with me. Here is what I have to choose from:
AF DX 10.5 fish eye $25.00
AF 16 f2.8 fish eye $20.00
AF 17-35 f2.8 $25.00
AF 20-35 f2.8 $25.00
AF 28-70 f2.8 $25.00
AF 35-70 f2.8 $20.00
AF 80-200 f2.8 $25.00
Nikon 500 f4 $100.00
Sigma lenses:
Nikon 12-24 $25.00
Nikon 120-300 f2.8 $75.00
Nikon 105 macro $25.00
I will be going for 4 days. As much as I would love to rent the 120-300 f2.8 I don't really see that happening. ($300 + tax? I don't think so!)
Anyways...which of these lenses would you bring? I'm probably going to be taking a lot of architecture and landscape shots. Do any of these say to you "you should fork out the ~$100 and bring this lens with you!" or is the selection of lenses I already have good enough.
Feel free to suggest locals for shots too by the way.

I just started a rental company and our rates are by the week. Our most expensive lens is $60ish for a week + shipping. A lot of the lenses listed we carry. Check it out... we are also offering 25% discount on 2 week rentals to DPC members.

Looking at what is in your portfolio it would probably be good to rent one of the fisheyes.
