WooHoo!!! I just found out that the 16x20's are on sale again!! Freakin $4.95
Adorama Pix
They did this a month or two ago & I ordered 10 of them (half for a customer & half for me!) I am definitely gonna take advantage, as Glenda & I have plans to fill a LOT of wallspace!
Easy to do, and the metallics are terrific!
(Psst, David / dwterry, didn't you take advantage of this last time too?) Anyone else care to chime in?
Billy

I ordered 6 earlier this week. One print came out slightly off. Not sure it is me or them. Everything else looked great. They deliver next day in Manhattan so I get them at work NEXT DAY. |

Thanks for the heads up! That's a really good price. I've never ordered from them, but this sounds like a good chance to try them out. |

Dang... I don't think I remember the 16x20" special. I must have missed that one! But I bought a *lot* of 11x14" prints last year when they went on special. In fact, I was overnighting the prints because even paying overnight shipping costs it was still cheaper than ordering them locally!
Quality? TOP NOTCH! Go for it!

What kind of paper do they print on? I've never used Adorama.

"Kodak Professional Endura", found on the back of my last ordered prints... The metallics are of the same Kodak Endura line.
For $5, it's really worth it to just try a couple of your own fav's!

Couple questions, does the 5 dollar deal only apply to the metallic papers? Also, I'm not registered, and before I do, can anyone tell me how long this promotion is going on for?

From the price list, the metallics are $7.95, but that's still very reasonable. I'm not registered either, and am also interested in when the offer expires. |

Doh! I read your post backwards... or something. So ya, the $4.95 is for the regular prints. |

According to their Blog, they are on sale until the end of the month. You may want to take a peek as there are other special goodies listed in the blog as well. :)
Thanks again Billy. :) |

I'm pretty sure the 25 free prints are 4X6's. I tried to get a 16X20 today, the sale still shows up on top of the homepage, but my shopping cart shows $7.95 instead of $4.95. Is there a code/coupon I'm not seeing??
Doh....just saw the earlier post about the metallic finish...that's what I had selected. Sorry.

- Yes, the free prints are usually 4x6's.
- They provide two types of storage space for you account: temporary (90 days) & a long term folder of 3 GB. PAY CLOSE ATTENTION TO WHICH FOLDER YOU USE!! Still, its 3 GIG for free!
- Like any printing company, you should read & understand their particular methods for quality. Do they offer ICC profiles? Will they auto proof /correct for you? (yes, and yes, btw) Don't hesitate to call & ask questions FROM THE PRINTING COMPANY (i LOVE helping people, but they know their systems best)
- Be sure to ask about their holiday schedules / shipping times, etc (that goes for ANY company, not just ones run by Jewish people in NYC, k?) :)
- $5/8 for big prints is a pretty darn good deal; just try it already! ;)
(you are welcome miss jen - as is everyone else!)

They messed up one of my prints badly once so I don't ask them to correct anything anymore. I still order though. |

Nikolai, did they replace the print for you, or make things right in some way? (I sure hope so!) To be honest, I did have a print come back slightly underexposed once... that was the last time I let a printing company auto-correct for me.
Thanks for your input! :)

I didn't bother. Just reordered with next batch w/o correction. It was only a dollar or two. Another person in the office ordered a print and got it back scratched. It was replaced without a problem. |

Well, I placed my order last night. Got a couple of 16x20's, a few 8x10's (one was free), a 10x10 and I also ordered 25 4x6's because I was under the impression that they would be free. But for some reason, they didn't show up that way at checkout. I've sent them an email but haven't heard back yet. Not really that big of a deal, it's only like $4 so I'm not stressing. Can't wait to see how they turn out. I got my delivery confirmation today. Woo Hoo! |

I did the same thing last night and ran into the same problemwith the free 4x6's. It seems that you can't combine the coupon codes for the free 8x10 and the free initial 25 4x6s. Going with the free 8x10 was the right choice. |

MPix uses the Endura paper as well and I believe I read it lasts 150-200 years...but I can't find that now.
Could someone confirm?

I'm glad I saw this post. I ordered 3 shots in 16x20 and just got them today. They turned out great. Now I might have to order a few more. |
