Has anyone any idea why my 30D will number the files â_MG_0001â when I shoot in manual mode and if I switch to automatic mode it changes the numbering prefix to âIMG_0002â?
It might not seem like much, but when I come to listing the files in chronological order, I have to choose the âdate picture takenâ option rather than the default ânameâ option.

The filenames start with an _ when the colourspace is set to AdobeRGB 1998.

It probably mentions that in the manual. ;oP

It is mentioned in the 40D manual so I assume it's in the 30D as well. ;o)

It's usually a last resort for me.
Actually, I think it's a last resort for most men!!!!
