Well,

I took the plunge and bought a 400D. It's been a long time since I've taken photos and I decided to jump back into it.

So now I have this new camera, a newly refreshed dpchallenge account, but no bag.

I've been to BestBuy and Walmart looking for something but they are all so... touristy. Does anyone have a recommendation for something a little less 'camera bag' looking and a little more 'jack bauer carrying sack' looking.

Don't mind the 24 reference... It's coming back on in January!!

Expect some more questions later about lenses, but for now I just need something to hold it in.

If you want less of a camera bag looking camera bag, try looking for a Domke or Crumpler at B&H or Amazon or your local camera shop.

I was recently on a mission for the same sort of thing and near the bottom of this thread (bags) you will see what I ended up with in case it might work for you too.

I have and love this lowpro slingshot 100AW its idea for one lens on the camera but I use the exterior loops to put a few individual lens cases on if I need them. It is a touch small to use as a backpack but Ideal as a camera bag

excellent.. thanks guys... that lowpro is nice. Those Kavu bags look a bit too stylish for me, i'm looking for a solid color for whatever reason.

Check this thread before you go with the slingshot

Thanks for the warning thegrand, I went with it anyway.. The pros outweigh the likelyhood of the cons.
