I had a tough choice for the macro challenge. It came down to personal taste, so I'm curious what others think. My wife, daughter, and I chose the alternative, but my Critical Mass teammates preferred what I entered. I should say, I like both of 'em, but thought the alternative had more visual interest.

The entry. Softer colors + tones, better DOF. Less shaprenning?

I agree your team did you right :) I didn't get a chance to vote in the challenge, but I would have given your entry at least 1 point better than your alternative. Your entry is calming and your alternative is chaotic...I prefer calm :)
