I was given an Olympus C750 Ultra Zoom about 6 months ago as a hand me down 'cause my Uncle felt sorry for me having to 'borrow' the camera from my workplace to take pictures. It's not in perfect condition because it won't focus if you zoom in past a certain point, which isn't very far... and it's only 4 megapixel. In my warped sense of mind I have been neglecting to even carry the camera around because I'm afraid of catching a really great picture with it and won't be able to size it very large.
Sort of a procrastinating perfectionist who won't attempt anything for fear of imperfection. |

Well, let's just say that one that never experiences imperfection will never experience perfection.
Oh and BTW, 2 megapixels will give a decent 8x10.

Carry it. I have a photo above my fireplace that I ordered through DPCPrints at a size of 16X20. I took with my 3.2 MP Canon S1 IS and it looks great.

For the first five months I had my D70s, I didn't know anything about resolution and had my image quality set on JPEG Normal......which roughly equates to 3.2MP. I cranked out plenty of excellent images in 8½X11 out of my printer that were just terrific.
There are circumstances that will tax its capabilities, but as long as you're not photographing things moving fast in the dark, you'll be fine.
