When using the Select > Color Range option, what specifically is selected during Highlights, Midtones, and Shadows. What are the level cutoff values for these? I noticed that the sum of the individual selections equals the whole image, so there must be cut off values.
Thanks,

You can actually define the values, I believe, but I have to run and i can't take time to look right now... I think someone mentioned that though. I just haven't done it.

| Thanks. Perhaps it is part of another tool? |

If you are using the selection tool, you can change the tolerance level in the menu bar. Its not really the same as the color range option, but if you play around with it you may get what you are looking for.

Yeah, I know. I'm just trying to figure out how the Highlight selection (et al.) is actually performed and whether or not it is customizable.
