Whenever I read something like that ... I always think:
If it was worth "X" to you yesterday, why should it be worth "less" today? Yesterday you were willing to part with X amount of dollars to buy it because you felt it was worth that much. Nothing has changed. The lens (computer, software, fill in the blank) hasn't lost it's value to you.
As with anything in this technology world ... you decide when the price is right for you and that's when you jump in. From that point forward, close your eyes and don't look back or you will forever hate yourself because the prices are ALWAYS falling. Had you waited for a better price ... well ... you'd still be waiting, because there's always a better price just around the corner.

I agree completely, it's worth every penny I paid for it. But being a college student, saving $50 would be amazing. But no regrets at all.

You're gonna love that 10-22. Everyone I know that has that lens is just amazed with the images they get out of it.

That's wierd that they list no camera bodies this time. Just lenses and Speedlight. Guess people waiting on Fall rebates to get the 40D might have waited for nothing.

Return it and buy a new one to get the rebate. Isn't there a 10 day return policy or something? ;o)

Good you say? Yeah, means I won't be tempted to buy anything LOL
100 2.8 and 135 F2 are what I want next I think. The 50 1.4 is tempting, but later on.
