Hi guys,

I have something to share that may be of use to the UK members of this site. Yesterday, I picked up 56 8x12 prints from this place:

DS Colour Labs

The quality is fantastic, took less than 24 hours for the job to be done, they're all printed at 300dpi on glossy or lustre paper, and the best thing? The 8x12 prints are 45p each! I asked at Jessops, Snapfish, Max Speilmann's etc anmd they quoted me £3 and above for an 8x12 print.

However, the 45p is an online price only- in store they start at £3.50 each. I can totally recommend these people looking for great quality prints at a good price.

And no, I don't work for them but at this price I figured more people would like to know about them. And if you're anywhere near Didsbury in South Manchester you can pick them up from the store and save postage money.

Any questions please ask.

Tez

edit to make the link.

Sounds good to me.

Don't suppose they do giant Canvas prints for free? :- )

Oh no - that's only over the pond . .

Wow - Their small print prices are not too good, though their Mid size rates are excellent!

Thanks for the link - Will deffinately give them a try!

Hmmm...

This appears to be a very small company. I am quite surprised to see badly written statements such as this on a business website (see the BOLD section):

What type of paper do you print on?
Fuji standard crystal archive for glossy prints and Fuji DP Professional paper for the Lustre (this also has copyright written on the reverse of the paper) This suits are professional photographers very well.

Lack of full stop after the brackets and the word "are" instead of "our"...
There are others, but this one really gets to me!

They do a good job and as far as I know, this is the only store under that name. As long as they print well and offer good value then what else matters? You could send them an email to let them know and I'm sure they'd thank you (and update).
