This is my first request to seek the opinion of others, but I guess you gotta start somewhere. Well, I, like many are probably bored indoors with nothing to shoot outside (cold and dead). Anyways, I thought I'd give my new 10D a few clicks and found the only appealing thing in my room, some almost rotten bananas. I know they aren't the most delicious looking subjects, but hey, they're interesting.
I tweaked around with the color balance to get a sepia, and black and white look, I think better than the yellow of the original. Can everyone please give me a few more pointers on shooting studio like pictures? like lighting, etc. (btw, I don't have a studio, just 2 pieces of paper and a desk lamp... still trying to get the hang of things).
